3.650 days!!!

Today we are celebrating our 3.650th day of marriage… 10 years ago on a beach in the Maldives we said YES I DO!!

We are off to Copenhagen for some romance!!!

Wood Anemones and Great Grandmother

What a day!!

Wood Anemones, Grandmothers red clogs, the woods to play in and the jummie salmon stew…..

Our Sunday could´t have been nicer, thank you!!!

Today me and my sister are packing in all our kids in the car, we are going for a looooong trip… all the way up to Göinge where I grew up;) We are on our way to visit my kids Great Grandmother! I love to come back to her old house, full of beautiful childhood memories…. it´s like time has been standing still!

Have a lovely Sunday everyone xxx

Flea-market garbage and treasures!

Print from Kal Barteski

300 crowns for this Schaub-Lorenz banjo 58, record player with radio and it´s working!!!

Found some iron windows for my future shower!

25 lovely green glass bottles!

I´m going back next week to pick up a 2 meter long industrial iron washbasin for the kids bathroom.

A whole lot of trash but I always find something interesting in the big mess in Trelleborgs byggagnat!

Raw and unfinished

Right now I’m going crazy for the unfinished, raw and original. Im stopping the workers every time something new comes up in the house; wait leave it!! They think Im nuts when i want to save old flaked wallpapers and cracks in the ceiling..

The house is living it´s own life and I don’t want to disturbe my old beauty..

Every layer is telling it´s own story, can it get more beautiful than this or am I really going mad??

My old lady is getting a nice little facelift,

in a few weeks she will be back in her original colour!

More unfinished and raw than this it can hardly get…

Dreaming of my kitchen…….

Today´s shooting

We had a rainy and pretty cold day at Österlen, it was a perfect day for shooting the autumn issue of Country Life because it totally felt like a autumn day;)

When we arrived to our location I just wanted to die…. The most charming and romantic house i´v ever seen!!

I would love to stand here and do the dishes watching the kids playing outside in the garden, dressed in some fabulous outfit from Danish Malene Birger.

The Ripetto shoes on the beautiful floor. The owner of the house found old newspaper under the plastic capet and decided to keep it that way, now you can lay on the floor and read about what happened in the world 1934, pretty amazing!

Let´s don´t talk about the bathrooms, so simple and beautiful…

Exclusive high shoes and stilettos is nice to get to wear at shootings, they don´t really belong in my life any longer… but I can´t stop loving them;)

Super nice and stylish Mia organising next outfit.

Getting hair and makeup

This is the kind of veranda I always dreamed of and check out the hospital daybed from the lokal flee market!

You can´t really transmit all the details, fun solutions and love that has been put in to the house through the photos, you kind of have to live it!
It sure was a great location and im so exited to se the photos that were shoot by talented Katarina Rohrberg published!
One thing is for sure, this house will be very, very hard to forget!
