I´m not really into budget airlines but right now i´m on Norwegian air and they have free wifi, pretty amazing!
Direct Copenhagen- Tenerife, 5 hours and ten minuets fight to reach our vacation house, the whole family are aboard.
Little princess is sleeping her beauty sleep and the boys are watching a film, very nice and quiet. Packed a huge goody bag for the kids (and me) full of fruit and Renée Voltairs berry boost and chocolat hazelnuts, super jummie!
Yet no accidents… no wet pants, and only happy faces!
I grabbed two of my favourite magazines at the airport, Rum Interior and Marie Claire Maison,
it´s not that bad to travel with small kids 😉

Discovered the flea markets around Popincourt: a “square of the brokers’ where you can find everything from lamps, objects, clothes, dishes , tables, country furniture, craft and posters
Charmy and impossible to pronounce, Alasinglinglin at Rue Tornaux
Another great place is Belle Lurette with it´s “wild west” feel over it;)
Such a great shop with a lot of fun stuff. I bought the school poster from the 60´s in the back for Cleo´s room
Around the corner there is a place called brocanterecycling where i found some great lamps and curious art works
Not to miss Atelier 154
The Atelier 154 is hidden at the back of a grassy paved alley, in the center of the 11th arrondissement. Step inside and leave the city and its plywood behind you. Stéphane Quatresous, the man in charge, takes you for a tour of the showroom. He’s the one who works the metal, the uncut wood and knows industrial furniture by heart: large metal tables and shelves just out of ancient factories, old schoolhouse chairs. LOVE!
Next trip I will book over the weekend so there will be a trip to the
most famous flea market in Paris at Porte de Clignancourt, officially called Les Puces de Saint-Ouen, but known to everyone as Les Puces (The Fleas). It covers seven hectares and is the largest antique market in the world, here I´m sure I will find a lot of the things i need for the new house!!
Now the party season is started!! My two boys are born i the summer and all the classmates in springtime so now we know what to do in our week ends… Birthday Partys!!
This Swedish wonderful childrean’s party book “Alla balla kalas” (all the cool party´s in English) is a collaboration between Isabelle McAllister, Christina Breeze Le Guellaff, Ann Söderlund and ICA. with photos by Jenny Brandt (dosfamily.com) and Erik Josjö.
Really inspiring photos and easy and fun ideas!
When we were living in Italy the kids birthday Party´s were all over the top… who had the most fabulous cake, how many rental ponies and which Mum had the most fabulous outfit? Off corse there were always professional clowns and magicians that kept the kids entertained while us the mums had champagne and finger food in a separate and calm angle of the garden!
When my niece came down to us to Rome for celebrating Milos 4 birthday she was quite shocked…. Wow, what a super party!!
She told me that one of her swedish friends from school invited the class over to his house, offered them a hotdog and a ice- popsicle then they played in garden for an hour and that was it!
But it is not always the “over the top” that is the most fun, sometimes it´s the small and intimate… the simple and easy that wins!
Yesterday it was our favourite Trulsa´s 6 year old birthday,
it was spagetthi, rawfoodcake
and lots and lots of love!
Went for a treasure hunt i the house today…
I´m all into upcycling!!!
Upcycling is the process of converting waste materials or useless products into new materials or products of better quality or a higher environmental value 😉
Look at all the nice things i found!
more leaded windows
During the digging around the house we found a old milk kettle.. nice door stop
Perfect moodbord for the kids room?
Beautiful boxes and a nice window frame
nice and rusty grass cutter and eventually beautiful arms!
Drawers for Cleo´s room
The red steps leads up to the kids secret sleep loft
This will become a nice sleeping loft for the boys, I´m imagining it all white painted with and some old rugs on the floor
found 4 of these super charming lampettes!!
the old laundry kettle will make a nice vase for tomato plants
Perfect writing desk in our office, love the yellow colour!
The workers thinks I’m crazy to save all this
(according to them shit)
New time, new energy…. we are going towards summer and the days are finally getting longer!!!!!

Checked out Oui management´s new office in Saint German, what a great space!
Love the letters from Kidimo..
Just around the corner on Rue de Buci is another favourite of mine Astier de Villatte so beautiful ceramics, they have another magic store at Sant-Honoré as well.
Astier de Villatte’s high-end vegetable wax perfumed candles. Exclusive, natural and pure – these candles contain no paraffin or other petrochemical by-products and they smell divine…

I had lunch with a friend while we were in Paris and she booked a table in the garden of the flagship store of Bonpoint, a whole mansion, a hôtel particulier from the 17th century with a garden dedicated to the kids. Designed by architect François Muracciole, the whole setting is just breathtakingly beautiful. You stroll through huge rooms in five adjoining buildings complete with vintage oak parquet, antiques and funny scenes, wondering just one thing: when can I move in here with my family? And as long as this is not possible, why not buying their nice little cashmere rompers or a little libertyfabric swirly dress!
Just love these stairs, I want mine in the same colour scaleIt can’t get more beautiful than this, its that french dark grey/brown that makes my knees soft…
The most quiet and green place in in Saint Germain, the garden is just a perfect spot for lunch with the kids.
Cleo in her new dress from TALC another fantastic kids shopI just love everything about this place, could wander around forever and buy the whole shop,
if money was not the problem…
